Stimlation area is a bit wide, would have prefered to be smaller but homemedics assured me they are designed like this to stimulate a larger surface area of the vagus nerve
I purchased these for vagus nerve stimulation and they do not stay clipped well to the tragus, but do stay clipped well to my ear lobe. I found another brand off amazon that has the electrodes on either side of the clip and the pads are made of rubber so they grip and stay in place much better than these clips.
does help with calming you down, but if intensity is too high it hurts. We dialed our TENs unit up to 2.5 and that seemed to work well...anything more than that is too much.
